![]() ![]() So far these changes have not resolved the issue. 2018 and another version that was installed by Windows 10 when I uninstalled and deleted the existing driver. 2019 Realtek USB GBE Ethernet Controller Driver for Dell TB16/WD15/DS1000/TB18DC/WD19/WD19TB/WD19DC Dock driver as well as. Also, having the ethernet cable connected to the laptop works with no issues. The only constant workaround that I have found is to run two DP from the dock and the third visual display from the HDMI cable port on the laptop itself. BIOS and video drivers, firmware are all updated. The mentioned workarounds have worked for me at times and sometime not. A Precision 7540 WD19DC docking station and three external 4k displays. Trying to fully use the WD19 docking station doesn't work. Do a System Restore Point before that if you maybe want to try reverting back if it doesn't work a little quicker.Īfter all is said and done, does this computer NEED to be Windows 10 right now? If not, revert the sucker back to the old OS that didn't give you any problems, put everything back the way it was before and maybe try to upgrade to Windows 10 after a few more months and some more driver updates have had a chance to get released? Do a full uninstall, reboot and clean install of those and see if there are any changes. If you got those drivers from Nvidia's site, then I would recommend hitting up Dell's site and grabbing the newest one available from there. If settings still don't get applied after that, then there's a potential mismatch of the drivers or driver application package that you have installed, or it may not be 100% compatible with the custom OEM hardware installed in the Dell. Maybe try to force a redetect of the hardware, uninstall the display from Windows and redetect to see if it installs a different driver. You say your Nvidia Control Panel settings ARE NOT WORKING and not applying those settings to the hardware. Look for something in the Nvidia software control panel. ![]() Previously, when I had an issue with things just not fitting right on a display, I was usually able to fix it by going into the custom settings of the video driver software settings, and finding/changing overscan/upscaling (or similar) settings. ![]() Worked well but sometimes lost the setting usually after driver updates. And Enable desktop resizing and manually had to adjust my display to fit the screen. Had the same issue with a Sony TV, went into Nvidia Control Panel. ![]()
